Harriet Price coordinating her wardrobe with Paddington terraces!

Councillor Harriet Price, Woollahra Municipal Council

Cr Harriet Price has represented Paddington on Woollahra Municipal Council for the past nine years. A local resident of 21 years, her connection to the area began over 50 years ago as a student at Union Street’s Peter Pan Pre School.

Harriet is a fierce community advocate and has successfully led high-profile grassroots campaigns, including to save the Four in Hand and Village Inn pubs. Harriet has also championed action against over-development, including the recent SSD at 160 Oxford Street.

She was named the 2019 Sydney Electorate Woman of the Year for her leadership of the Glenmore Road Public School P&C, community advocacy and as a role model for women in public office.

Harriet holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of NSW, a Master of International Relations and a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University. She was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1997.

Her love for Paddington’s local cafes, restaurants and fashion retailers are beautifully captured on her @PriceforPaddington Instagram. Many locals suspect that, despite her many professional achievements, her true talents lie in the rigorous town planning required to coordinate her daily wardrobe with the colourful doors of Paddington’s iconic terrace houses!.
