The many pedestrian users of the pathway and staircase at Trumper Park from the Glenmore Road playground leading to New McLean Street are delighted to have discovered that Woollahra Council’s upgrade works are nearing completion with some handrails yet to be installed.

Trumper Park walkersScheduled to commence on 28 April with an estimated 3 weeks duration (weather permitting), the start was delayed by rain but the pathway was still completed on time, despite the inclement weather and regular rainy spells in the interim.

The new pathway links to existing pathways around and through the park, and the lovely weather recently saw a steady stream of happy pathway users in both directions.

Congratulations to Council for this efficient, non-intrusive and useful public project.

The Trumper Park Plan of Management is available. A plan of management (POM) is a land management tool. It provides forward planning and governance for the use of public “community” land under the Local Government Act 1993 (LG Act).
