The Paddington Society is pleased to support the Queen Street & West Woollahra Association’s weekend-long celebration of the iconic postcode location – 2025!

The Woollahra Festival 2025 Weekend runs from the evening of Friday, 28 March to Sunday afternoon, 30 March.

It is a weekend of fun with something for everyone, including late night shopping with music, champagne, special events and offers throughout Queen Street, a Writers Festival starring local and international writers, a Gala Lunch in a beautiful marquee on Victoria Avenue, a full program of free community performances on a stage off Queen Street finishing with a Community Dog Show, talks on Design by leading local architects and interior designers, concerts by the Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra, and a relaxing finish to the weekend listening to jazz in Chiswick Park.

There are three events or activities we recommend you get your tickets early, as they are going fast:

  • Help fund the Festival. Our Festival fund-raising raffle is for a unique 7.04ct Aquamarine & Diamond Cocktail Ring worth over $22,000, custom designed and handcrafted and generously donated by Matthew Ely Jewellery. All proceeds go to the Woollahra Festival 2025. Only 350 tickets will be sold, so much better odds than Lotto!

  • The Woollahra Festival Gala Lunch with wine included will be held in a decorated marquee set up in Victoria Avenue, just off Queen Street on Saturday 29 March. Guests will enjoy a glass of Pommery champagne before sitting down to a four course meal accompanied by premium wines. A highlight of the lunch will be the drawing of the Festival Raffle Prize mentioned above. Get your table together now. Get further details and book your tickets.
  • The Woollahra Writers Festival is where you can join some of Australia’s most exciting writers and thinkers on Saturday 29 March and Sunday 30 March in conversation about a diverse range of topics, including literature, art and theatre, crime and espionage and taking on the patriarchy, all in the glorious surroundings of the Olsen Gallery at 63 Jersey Road Woollahra.
