DESCRIPTION:Our highly anticipated Annual Dinner is always lots of fun and a great opportunity to meet your community. \nEnjoy a glass of bubbly on arrival\, a fabulous dinner and a compelling special guest presentation as we celebrate The Paddington Society’s achievements\, and our unique community. Join in the raffle for your chance to take home one of the selection of coveted prizes! \n \nSpecial Guest Speaker\nAlex Greenwich MP\, Independent State Member for Sydney\nAlex chaired the successful marriage equality YES campaign\, and introduced the bills that decriminalised abortion\, delivered voluntary assisted dying and removed large portions of LGBTIQA+ discrimination. He has chaired landmark inquiries into essential worker housing\, food security\, and energy – the latter which became the catalyst for the state’s renewable energy transition. Alex participated in the 2nd series of “Filthy\, Rich\, and Homeless” SBS documentary and continues to push for compassionate housing policies including working with Paddington residents to defend local boarding houses. He got the new Inner Sydney High School built and is a strong voice for the natural and urban environment. As an independent\, he works with all parties and has provided confidence and supply to both Coalition and Labor minority governments. \nRaffle Prizes\nGet your raffle tickets on the night to enter the draw for a selection of prizes!
